Biography:

Ekramul Karim Chowdhury is a Bangladeshi Awami League politician and also current Member
of Parliament of Noakhali – 4 [Noakhali Sadar excluding Neyazpur, Ahwadia Unions). He is
general secretary of Noakhali Zilla Awami League. His election symbol is ‘Boat’.

He was born in June 9, 1962 in Kalimunshibazar, Kabirhat upazila,Noakhali. His father Haji
Idris Mia was a business man in Noakhali district.

He has completed his SSC and HSC from Noakhali Zilla School and College. His highest
education degree is HSC then he joined politics in Awami League.

His side businesses:

Almost many of the MP has their own side business. As MP Ekramul karim chowdhury belongs
to a business family, he also has some side businesses besides his job. He was born and brought
up in noakhali so he has established his business there. He has multiple numbers of businesses
such as- land business, shipping business, car business and restaurants and shopping mall. He got
the land business from his father. After that he invested in shipping business and car business. He
import cars from foreign countries and sell it in Bangladesh. He also opened some restaurants
and shopping mall in Noakhali district.
Now he lives in permanently in Noakhali so besides social services and political works he
maintains his businesses very well. He has that ability to handle both sides and knows to earn
money. He hired managers and employees for different sectors. Those managers manage his
businesses. He also has knowledge about his business and control over the business. Moreover
