REPORT ON THE NUMBER OF VISITS TO KOREAN RESTAURANTS BY SELECTED MALAYSIANS AN


THE REASONS FOR CHOOSING KOREAN RESTAURANTS

Figure 1 shows the frequency of visits to Korean restaurants by Malaysians from 2014 to

2017 while Table 1 shows the reasons for choosing them in 2017. Overall, the reasons for choosing
Korean restaurants in 2017 directly influenced the frequency of visits to Korean restaurants by
Malaysians in 2017.

The number of visits to O'Fry by selected Malaysians is the lowest (1) in 2014, then it

increased in 2015 (2) and remained the same in 2016, it then reached the highest in 2017 (4).

The number of visits to Mrs.Bee by Malaysians is the lowest in 2014 and 2015 which are

2 visits for each of both years, then it increased to 3 visits in 2016 and reached the highest in

2017 which is 6 visits.

In 2017, the number of visits for Mrs.Bee is the highest (6) due to the amount of reasons

given (4) which are 'reasonably priced','generous portion', 'cozy atmosphere' and 'unlimited

refillable BBQ'. In contrast, the number of visits for Dufuyo is the lowest (3) due to the amount of

reasons given (2) which are 'cozy atmosphere' and 'unlimited refillable BBQ' only.

In conclusion, the number of visits to Korean restaurants by Malaysians in 2017 is directly

influenced by the reasons for choosing Korean restaurants in 2017.
