Multiple Start Times
Did our calculator suggest multiple start times? We often suggest multiple start times
Station 2: Front Lawn - Left
to allow the water to soak into the soil to alleviate puddling and/or prevent runoff.
5 minutes
Enter the suggested Station Run Time from the calculator, and program the
suggested number of Start Times. There is no need to divide up the Run Time. This is
Station 3: Front Lawn - Right a suggestion and is not necessary if you find that your soil doesn't get saturated

controllers and let it control the seasonal adjust for you!
Station 6: Back Lawn - Right

Seasonal Adjust
Seasonal Adjust, also known by municipalities as Water Index, is used to make global run time
Station 7: Left Lawn changes without reprogramming the entire controller and is perfect for making small changes
4 minutes that are necessary as the weather changes throughout the year.

Please keep in mind that these run times are based on your area's hottest month. You will need
to adjust water usage as temperatures cool and heat up. You can either do this manually,
Program C through your seasonal adjustment feature on your controller (select models only) or through a
weather sensor, such as the Solar Sync.

For instance, during hotter times of the year, the landscape may require a bit more water.
Seasonal Adjust can be increased so the stations run longer than the programmed time.
Conversely, as fall approaches the Seasonal Adjust can be reduced to allow for short watering
durations. This overall percentage based change applies globally to all Run Times on the
controller. For example: If your Run Times in the summer are set for 1 hour and you adjust the
Seasonal Adjust to 50%, your Run Times will now change to 30 minutes.
