Water spray test

Slow pressure test

SSC (Test sample):

Test conditions:
• Test the sample (SSC) for one hour at the temperature of 60C.
• Conduct 60 cycles (85 seconds per cycle) in accordance with the profile shown at temperature of 60C.
• Leave the SSC for one hour at an ambient temperature of -30C.
Test setup:
• Stroke SSC 10 times at an ambient temperature of -30C with recording the pressure of brake fluid.
Spray conditions:
• Water pressure at spray nozzle: 98.1 kPa
• Total spray amount: 4.1 x 10-4 m3/s (min)
• Water temperature to be same as ambient temperature.
Acceptance criteria:
• Pressure of brake fluid at temperature at -30C must be 64 bar max. Actuation profile:
• Assembly condition of the boot must be same as before tested.
• No damage allowed in the Semi slave cylinder (SSC).
