G Course Evaluation and Improvement Processes

1. Strategies for Obtaining Student Feedback on Effectiveness of Teaching
• Conduct periodic questionnaires to evaluate the course and the instructor.
• Make a comparison between the results of students in different tests.
• Comparing the final results of students in the various classes.
2. Other Strategies for Evaluation of Teaching by the Instructor or by the Department
• Collecting samples of student examination papers at the end of each semester to evaluate them
based on the model answer provided by the course instructor.
• The instructor should submit the course report at the end of each semester to add it to the
course file.
• Match tests, lectures and learning outcomes of the course and the program.
3. Processes for Improvement of Teaching
 Workshops by internal and external experts 
 Coordination between teachers of different sections of the same course 
Training and orientation for new instructors of the course
4. Processes for Verifying Standards of Student Achievement (e.g. check marking by an
independent member teaching staff of a sample of student work, periodic exchange and
remarking of tests or a sample of assignments with staff at another institution)
• Review the course report each semester and follow the development notes the next semester.
• Review the correction of the tests through the correction committee within the department.
• Submit the periodic report of completion to the academic affairs committee in the department.
5. Describe the planning arrangements for periodically reviewing course effectiveness and
planning for improvement.
• Make a course file that contains everything related to that course: Course description form,
course report, course electronic lectures, short tests, homework, periodic tests, final tests,
model answer samples, samples of students' examination papers and more.
• Review the course file periodically by the scientific and academic committee of the
department.
