Course Goals 
● By the end of this course, students will be able to: 
○ Read, understand, and be able to explain multiple forms of literature and their 
reason for being written. 
○ Be able to write a FIVE page research paper on the themes inside a 
Shakespearian play 
○ Be able to write their own forms of literature such as small stories 
○ Understand the impact that literature has on the lives of many people. 

Class Rules 
● NO talking when I am talking. 
● NO talking when others are talking. 
● Be prepared when class begins 
● Have bellringer completed BEFORE bell rings 
● NO vulgar language or out of line actions. 
● NO PHONES UNLESS PERMITTED! 
○ 1st Offense - Warning 
○ 2nd Offense - Taken until class ends 
○ 3rd Offense - Taken until day ends
