Dear Mr. Hook,

I am writing to inquire about the opening at the Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences for the position
of Ag Finance & Economics Teacher & Co-FFA Advisor. I am interested in teaching students about Finance and
Economics revolving around the Agricultural Industry and how the subjects components can apply to the
students themselves.

Even though I am only in high school, I have a lot of experience evolving around the subject that would make
me qualified in the future. Given the fact that I am a member of the National FFA Organization I know my way
around the organization and the way it functions. I also want to pursue a major in Agricultural Education and a
minor in Finance, so I will be trained and have knowledge for the position.

The reason why I want to work for your school is because I went there for high school and I would love to be
back. The school has taught me so much and it’s the reason why I want to go into Agricultural Education in the
first place. If I had the chance to go back and give the same thing that I was given in high school, I’d do it
instantly!
