Mission: Smart Joules’ mission is to eliminate energy waste through innovations in continuous energy
optimization.

We design, execute and manage energy efficiency retrofit projects in large hospitals, hotels and industries under
an award-winning Pay-As-You-Save offering called JoulePAYS. Our self-developed energy optimizing IoT
technologies continuously monitor and control energy consumption in our client sites to ensure energy savings are
maximized. Led by an MIT/Berkeley Alumnus and an award winning chief engineer, Smart Joules has won national
and international recognition, including first prize in the 2016 National Energy Conservation Awards from the
Ministry of Power, two National Awards for Excellence in Energy Management from CII, and numerous other prizes
and media mentions. In recognition of our innovative zeal, our CEO was recently invited to a special interaction
with the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India on the topic of “Champions of Change: Transforming India through G2B
Partnerships”, and was subsequently invited to be part of a Working Group on Energy Efficiency convened by NITI
Aayog and composed of industry and policy leaders. Our CEO is also on the Executive Council of the leading non-
profit organization focusing on energy efficiency in India – the Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy (AEEE). Our
customers include leading names such as Fortis Healthcare, Narayana Health, KIMS Hospitals, G. Kuppuswamy

Energy Engineer, 1 Position, Delhi.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible to prepare energy monitoring and verification protocols, prepare performance plans for energy
conservation measures, and support the operations head in day to day activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

➢ Preparing documents covering monitoring and verification of energy savings at SJPL client site.
➢ Preparing performance monitoring system for each site at SJPL.
➢ Ensuring that timely submission of monthly and adjustment reports to Director Operations.
➢ Conduct periodic Energy Conservation Method sustainability audits for all sites.
➢ Able to lead operational activity running at given site and take corrective measures for rectifying the
errors.
➢ Support the Operation’s Director in daily supervision of sites and able to identify the critical incident at
site and suggest measures to overcome the critical incident.
➢ Support Director Operations in computer related activites and coordination among different sites.
➢ Handle monthly customer service calls to take feedback, share important information and maintain a long
term relation with the customers.
➢ Handle the vendors at site, and able to get a proposal for site from vendors.
 ➢ Able to handle and monitor the BMS and HVAC system at site.
➢ Able to take a follow up for pending payment collections from the sites.

QUALIFICATION:

➢ Candidate should be from energy background or hold a degree in energy management.

➢ Able to understand and practically work on the BMS and HVAC System at SJPL.
➢ Should have 1+ Yrs of experience in energy sector.
➢ Should have proficient Computer Knowledge, hands on experience on working with MS Office.
➢ Should posses’ good writing skills.
➢ Should be a go starter and ready to take initiatives of its own.
