The troubleshooting method for“Board

communication link interrupted(198097060)” in

BPK

1. Symptom Description and Root Cause:

There is one bug in UR13(We test it in SDR4.13.10.30P43). the software BUG will lead
to BPK board start failure in the frequent power-down,The board can not be started
during the Boot phase and the start process be stopped in the below step
KUBoot ..............login:. This faulty board can be recovered remotely by the command via
telnet.
The alarm code：Board communication link interrupted(198097060)

2. Operation Procedure

a. telnet to CC board
b. telnet to BPK board from CC(The BPK board in slot 8 in the example site)

The default IP for each slot in BBU for the reference.

After telnet to the BPK board,If it display the message KUBoot ..............login:

,We can fix the issue by the below method.If the message does not

display,pls abort the operation due to the issue can not be fixed by the

method which mentioned here.

c. Input Ctrl +c,then press c in the keyboard.

the the system will in character mode. After entering character mode, the

characters entered on the keyboard are not visible on the screen

d. Input zte （enter）， zte （enter）.Log on the BPK

e. Input SetBootFlag 0xff (enter)

Since here the input and output will be visable.The output shows as below.
f. Input reboot(enter). The BPK will reboot

Close the telnet window and wait for 5 minutes.Check the alarm
