2. Answer the following questions:

What is happening in the picture?

It´s a painting in which a scene is represented where there are many people, men, women and
childrens. Some people are dancing in the center and others are sitting and talking on tables and
chairs around them.

What are the woman and the man doing? (a) What are they wearing?

They are dancing. The woman is wearing a salmon colored dress, and the man is wearing a suit
with brown pants and black jacket, he is also wearing a black hat.

What is the man with hat next to the tree doing? (b)

He is recharged in the tree, it seems that he are looking for someone special.

What are the girl and the woman doing? (c) What do you think they are talking about?

They seem to be talking, I think maybe they talk about the girl wanting to play or dance.

What are the two women and the man doing? (d) What do you think they are talking about?

They are talking, I think the woman is introducing her daughter to man.

What are the two men at the table doing? (e)

They are looking at the people in front of them, maybe they are listening to their conversation.

3. Write two questions that you would ask the characters.

4. Record a voice message where you describe what happens in the painting, to send to your
friend as an audio file on WhatsApp. You can start by saying:

como archivo de audio por WhatsApp. Puedes iniciar diciendo:)

Hello, guess what, I'm seeing a fantastic painting named Dance, in the La Galette mill, there are a lot of
people there, in the photo I can see that there are many people of all ages, women, men and childrens.
Others are sitting around on the chairs of the tables; there are talking it seems as if they celebrate
something in particular, they are very well dressed, and elegant, it is a very beautiful painting with not
so defined colors, it is impressive and curious, I wish you could see it.
