Shrek Performance Audition Reflection:

1. What are some key skills you need to demonstrate in an audition?

You need to be able to project your voice and show that you are present on stage. It is also
important to swap into the mindset of the character.
2. What character did you audition for and why?
I auditioned for Pinocchio because I like the character and he is a really comedic character. He is
also very present on stage.
3. What preparation did you complete before your audition?
I practiced after school with my sister who helped me. I also practiced doing his accent and
trying to get it right.
4. Think about the actual audition. How did you feel after you finished? Were you
satisfied with your performance? Why or why not?
I was satisfied when I finished my audition. I also felt very proud and I felt like I had done a good
job.
