Creating Google Docs


Step 1. On your taskbar, open your browser by
clicking the browser’s logo, say Google Chrome.
Step 2. Type docs.google.com on the URL box
then hit enter.
Step 3. Click the ‘+’ sign to create new file.
Step 4. Change the title from ‘Untitled
Document’ to ‘EPP-ICT ASSIGNMENT’
Step 5. Look for
the cursor and
begin typing the
texts

Type these texts


Step 6. Insert
link of web
samples for
timeline.
To insert link
Click insert ➔ link
➔ type direction on
the text box
➔ paste the link
copied from the
web on link box
➔ click apply You may use CTRL K for link or
click its button/icon
To check if you
successfully inserted the
link

Click on the text, a pop-up


image will appear. This is
the site of the URL you
pasted.
Step 7. Type the
texts on #3 and
insert picture.

To insert image
Click insert
➔ image
➔ upload from
any of the options
given
Step 8. For item #4, use the voice typing tool
of google docs.
To insert voice text
Click tools ➔ link
➔ Voice typing
(wait for an icon of
microphone)➔ click
tap to speak (the
icon will become
red) ➔ dictate what
is needed to be
voiced type
Note:
The microphone icon will create
waves as you dictates.
Step 9. Use special
characters in your
document. Type
the instruction on
#5.
To special
character
First, put your
cursor on the
place where your
special character
is to be placed.
To special character
Click insert
➔ special character
➔ draw your special
character select
which
➔ character fits
your need

Note: Hit the


special
character
once only.
