DTC Detecting Condition Probable Causes

An excessively low voltage (0 Volts) from the APP1 sensor Harness or Connectors
is sent to ECU.
(The sensor circuit is open or
An excessively high voltage (3.5 Volts for C04 ECU and 5.25 shorted)
for C55 ECU ) from the APP1 sensor is sent to ECU.

APP1 and APP2 signals are not synchronized Failed accelerator pedal
position sensor 1

Lamp Status

DTC For BS 3 For BS 4

P0122 Check engine lamp ON Check engine lamp ON
P0123 Check engine lamp ON MIL lamp ON
P1120 Check engine lamp ON MIL lamp ON

Fault Reaction

If malfunction is with APP1 and its circuit, then the engine runs with throttle till 40% with fuel quantity limitations

If both APP1 and APP2 malfunction, then engine will run at limp home mode i.e 1200 rpm
