Hundred Islands

Alaminos City, Pangasinan Philippines

The Hundred Islands National Park is the first national park and a protected area located

in Alaminos, Pangasinan in the northern Philippines. The Hundred Islands of Alaminos
City is probably the most popular tourist spot in Pangasinan. Hundred Islands National
Park consists of 124 islands, and 123 islands at high tide. It’s distinct mushroom shaped
islands (caused by years of ocean waves and eroding action) are believed to be over two
million years old. Three of the 124 islands are more heavily touristically developed than
others, with zip-lines, water activities, and restaurants/stands.

Visiting Hundred Island was worth it. There are many things we have done there that
makes us enjoy our trip there. We rode a boat that fits our whole family and based on
what I remembered it takes 30 minutes on that boat to get in the destination where
really it is. We took pictures to remember this kind of experience. We swim all day but at
night we can’t because of high tide. We sleep in tent overnight and I remembered seeing a
shooting star here. We had so much fun here.
Baguio City

Baguio is a highland city in the province of Benguet. Due to its cool mountain weather, it
is considered the "Summer Capital of the Philippines." The city is abundant with pine
tree, so it is nicknamed the City of Pines. In October 31, 2017, it became part of UNESCO’s
Creative Cities Network, the first city in the Philippines to join the list. Baguio is
considered a city separate from the province of Benguet, but it is considered part of
Benguet practically.

In our trip to Baguio took a long drive but it was worth it. Baguio is so beautiful and fun
to visit. We saw mesmerizing views that was really good. We enjoyed being there and
tried many kinds of activities. We went on Baguio’s famous places like strawberry farm,
Burnham park and many more. We saw many fogs and it was really cold there. This was
such a great experience.
