Hello!

I am going to go to the national park the tuparro, soon! Let me describe my

"tour tuparro" checklist.

My checklist includes five important aspects. The first, and the most
important, is vaccination and immunization. The government of Colombia
says that I can not enter the park without proof that I was vaccinated against
yellow fever and other diseases. I also need to check that I have all the
common vaccines (the ones I usually get when I was a kid). For that reason,
I have to visit the doctor to verify my registration and plan a vaccination
schedule (in case I need it) at least three months before my departure.

The second point on my list is arrival. My aunt's house is not near the airport,
so I need to organize a welcome service. My uncle can pick me up at the
Puerto Carreño Airport. I have to talk to him soon to inform them about my
arrival time and flight number.

Also, I have to make sure I have the right clothes to go to the tuparro park.
Colombia is a tropical country, so the days are hot and there is a lot of
humidity. For that reason, I need to buy several shirts and shorts for the hot
weather. There are also quite a few mosquitoes in Puerto Carreño. I need a
mosquito net and an insect repellent to carry with me at all times.

The fourth point on my list is money. The official currency in Colombia is the
peso. Although there are now several ATMs in Puerto Carreño, I have to
make sure I have enough cash in case I do not find one. To change money.

Finally, there is one important thing to consider. That is the contact with the
animals during the tour. I can not interfere with your natural behavior. It can
be very dangerous. Also, I have to consult my guide before leaving the
vehicles. In general, there are many wild animals and birds around and it is
better to prevent attacks.

That's all folks. See you in the natural park the tuparro!
