Compare is to estimate, measure, or note the similarity or
dissimilarity between
Adjectives are words or phrases naming an attribute, added to or
grammatically related to a noun to modify or describe it.
Adjectives for Degree of Comparisons are words used to
compare differences between the two noun they modify.
Adjective are used in 3 different degrees:
Positive
Comparative
Superlative
a. Positive Degree an adjective or adverb that does not make a direct
comparison;
b. Comparative Degree are words used when two nouns are being
compared;
c. Superlative Degree are words used to describe something and/or
someone which is at the upper or lower limit of a quality.
Example:
1. Jhasmin is kind.
2. The content of this book is long.
3. Joseph is brave.
4. This lesson is simple.
5. Hannah is always happy.
6. Ivan’s bag is heavy.
7. New York is a big city.
8. Kenneth’s cat is fat.
9. Vygotsky’s piano pieces are difficult to learn.
10. American actors are famous.
