trip, but when she got there, she was not so sure. She had waited at the reception for fifteen minutes

with a window looking over a car park. She tried to be positive and unpacked her bags, so she
wanted to have a shower before going sightseeing. Nevertheless, the shower was not working, so
she called the hotel reception very upset for all the problems she had had. (106 words)

Although she had tried to have a positive attitude, the plumber arrived an hour later. He hit the pipes
a few times and said ‘Sorry, but I cannot fix it today, maybe tomorrow.’ Then, he held out his hand.

He wanted a tip for nothing! She was furious, when suddenly she had a thought. She could solve the
problem by talking to the manager. Finally, she went to the reception desk and explained to the hotel
manager that she had given a very large tip to that man. After all, she moved into room 405, which
was much better and felt happier. Despite the difficulties, Mary had the time of her life in Andorra.
