My dear Folks,

It was in May that I had my fourth cycle of chemotherapy. Just when we were feeling uplifted about
the doc concluding that the cancer was in recession, I had a rather bad bout of cellulitis that landed
me in hospital for ten days.

While I was there, in a neighbouring room there was a 15 year old lad being treated for pancreatitis,
which he has had from the time he was 9 years old. Obviously, prior to that there was no thought of
getting any health insurance cover for him or for his older brother who was 10 at the time. But after
the discovery of pancreatitis, the boy couldn't get insurance cover for his treatment. Every year, the
boy suffers an attack or two that lands him in hospital.

The lad is Aannjob, the son of Lal Shaji and Kumari Lala.
Shaji was born blind and Kumari married him as her father
said Shaji is a good man. He is a high school teacher in the
Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School. The older brother is
Aannjoe.

Roshini and I pray daily for the boy to not suffer any more
attacks that land him in hospital. Meanwhile Aannjob's
treatment has landed the family in serious debt.

Since there is no one to speak up for them, I do so. You may already be committed to supporting
other people and needs. The Lord blesses you and enables you to do that. However, you could pass
