    Elaborate your answer.

    Imagine living in your country without knowing how you became a Filipino and how did it
    all begun, you might feel lost and feel that you don’t belong. Learning about the
    beginning and development of your country into the present gives you awareness and
    promotes interest and encourages pride in national achievements. We can also
    appreciate how our heroes fought for our freedom in the past and give them importance,
    they have stories filled with filled with action, danger, triumphs and defeats that is worth
    knowing or us to be able to not make the same mistakes of the past and learn from
    them. History gives us a sense of responsibility as a Filipino and it unites us as one.
    Knowing your roots makes you proud of your nationality and it gives you confidence.
