He decided to become a doctor because he is passionate about the functioning of
the human body, specifically the brain.

Today in our section Interesting occupations we have being a doctor. We

interviewed Dr. Jorge Ramón Pérez Bran. He works at the ISSSTE Clinic. He
decided to become a doctor because his father was also a doctor. He has specialized
to be a medical surgeon. He has worked for many important institutions, both public
and private. His career has not been easy since he began his studies he suffered a lot
because his home was very far from his school and he traveled for 2 hours. Nobody
believed that he finished his studies, but he did it and he has saved many lives and
everyone in the hospital thinks that he has been one of the best directors they have
ever had. The number of lives he has saved is unknown. He has certainly been
helping many people not only in the hospital, but also in his community he helps
them financially and academically. He is well recognized for his good heart, his
happiness, his sympathy for others and his special philosophy of life. He has been a
doctor for 30 years. We really hope we can have more doctors like him.
