Gas Gauge
The shaft of the gas low interlocking device comes forward to prevent manual operations and
the red low gas target located on the bottom of the LBS appears, and all operations are not
allowed when the gas pressure becomes low, when gas pressure is low
(2) Locking Device
The shaft of locking device comes forward so that the operating handle does not operate when the yellow ring of locking
device is pulled all the way down with a hook stick. all electrical and mechanical operations, including remote operations,
are not permitted when the locking device is the locked. Once this ring of the locking device is fully pushed up, all
operations are allowed again.

(3) Position Indicator
The LBS has two position indicators on the front and bottom for user convenience. The position indicator is painted white or
green, and the direction pointed by the indicator indicates the actual position of the contact of the LBS. The above picture
shows the closed state.
(4) Receptacle for Control Cable
Through this cable, the control output signals to the LBS, the status signals of the LBS, and the secondary output of the
built-in voltage and current sensors are connected to the control.
When connecting the straight plug on the cable side to the receptacle on the LBS, hold the
straight plug and shake it while rotating the coupling ring on the straight plug. Rotate the
coupling ring sufficiently until the straight plug is not shaken,
** If the operating handle is in a different position and the LBS is operated via the control, the
LBS may be damaged or personnel near the operation handle may be injured.

1.3 Other Indicators and Button
These are turned on when each phase voltage is more than the set live
line, and turned off when it is below the set dead line.
To operate the LBS, first press the control selected button and its
indicator should be on.
Item Description
Login Window
If the setting of communication port is correct, the on-line status
and the green indicator are displayed as shown on the right.
The control is connected when ID/Password and access code
are correctly entered.
If the access code is not input, it will be operated in off-line mode without
connection to the control.
2 Metering – Status Menu
Once connected, click the Once or continue button and the control panel will be
displayed as shown below.
The control panel has a structure similar to that of the control, and operates
identically.
[Tap]BI/BO, [Tap]AI, [Tap] Phasor, [Tap]Harmonic, and [Tap] Count/Energy to
display detailed information.
3. File Menu
This menu item changes according to the protocol selected in the config menu.
5.1 Settings - Control Menu
Consist of five vertical [Tap]; [Tap] Global for global group, and [Tap] Group1 to
Group4 for each operation settings group.
Select a vertical [Tap] and access other items through the horizontal [Tap]
located at the bottom.
5.1.1 Control Menu – [Tap] Global
5.1.1.1 [Tap] Global - [Tap] System1
: Settings for the installation site
: Settings that affect the operation of
the control.
: Settings for battery management
Bouncing
Group 1 and group 2, and group 3 and group 4 are paired when alternate settings is enabled.
Group 1 and group 3 correspond to forward power flow, and group 2 and group 4 correspond to reverse.
Inrush Current
Rated Voltage
Live line
%
Threshold of on level for live line
Dead line
: If the reclose control function is activated and the LBS is tripped by a set load shedding element, the
control automatically closes the switch when the line returns to normal.
: Settings for loss of phase element . This settings affect all voltage elements.
: Setting for blocking for closing the LBS.
When the selected state is detected, closing operations on the LBS are blocked.
5.1.1.4 [Tap] Global - Extra Port
: Settings of auxiliary DI contacts; not used, open, close, AC off, AC off & Battery low, and general DI
point.
: Settings of auxiliary DO contacts; open/closed, disable open/close, up/down edge alarm, and general
DO point.
These can be connected through the terminal block. And DO output can be connected to DI input.
5.1.2 Operation Settings Group
5.1.2.1 [Tap] Group1 – [Tap] Phase/Ground/SEF
Use to initialize all settings in
all operation settings group to
default values.
: Used to detect the over load on the phase/ground/neutral/zero sequence current below the set pickup
current of fault detection.
: Settings for auto-sectionalizing scheme; the count means the number of operation of the protective
device on source side, the delay means delay time for operating the LBS.
: Settings for resetting fault indicator.
On : The fault indicator is automatically reset when the line returns to normal.
Off : The fault indicator is only reset by the user, either remotely or locally.
5.1.3 Group View
Source Group
Destination Group
Run Button
The Group View is used to check all parameters in the global group and each
operation settings group in the table form.
In addition, copying between operation settings groups is also provided.
Be sure to save the settings in the File- File Save or Data Backup menu after
completing all settings.
5.2 Settings - Correction Menu
Firmware download
Factors for battery, initialization of settings and events, and setting of date and time
The correction menu consists of five [Tap] : Factor, Factory Factor, Factory
Phase, Battery/Initial/Time, and Firmware.
These 5 [Tap] have a significant effect on voltage and current measurements and the
operation of the control. Therefore, these tasks should not be allowed to workers who do not
have sufficient qualifications.
5.2.1 Correction Menu – [Tap] Factor
The left part of the window is for phase voltage and the right part is for the phase
angle of phase voltage.
If the ‘control’ item of the (2) part is 10000, it indicates that the corresponding phase has
default factor. If factors of the (2) part is not the default value, initialize these factors first and
then perform automatic calibration. Otherwise, the wrong factor can be calculated.
5.2.2 Correction Menu – [Tap] Battery/Initial/Time
On the screen (4), RTU SET is for initializing all parameters of global and each operation
settings group, DNP SET and IEC SET for the settings related to communication protocol,
and Physical SET for communication network and port.
In the initialization screen (4), an inadvertent initialization operation can perform an undesired
initialization of the settings stored in the control.
Be sure to perform a data backup of all the settings and the factors in the File - Backup
menu in advance.
5.2.3 Settings - Correction Menu – [Tap] Firmware
