EXPERIENCE :

 Having 34+ years experience with Aditya Birla Insulators (formerly known as
Jayshree Insulators). Retired on 30.09.2019

 Last Assignment : Marketing & Sales In-charge for Uttar Pradesh, Punjab &
Haryana and Uttarakhand BBMB & Railways with additional responsibility of
regional accounts and administration

Responsibilities and Customers :

 Joined Aditya Birla Insulators (then known as JSI) in 1985 in Marketed

department. Then JSI was a transmission company – i.e. besides being leading
manufacturer of porcelain insulators, it also undertook Transmission EPC projects.
After JSI excited the EPC business in 1995 and gradually the Delhi Office
downsized, I moved to Marketing and Liaisioning, while retaining the
responsibility of office accounts. Remained part of the marketing team in 2003-
2007 when ABI formed JV with NGK Insulators, Japan.

 In India, the transmission business was confined to Central PSU and State SEBs
and I have worked with all Central PSUs like PGCIL, NHPC, NTPC, BBMB etc.
and SEBS like UPPCHL, RVVPNL, PSEB, DVB, HPSEB, etc. Because of my
extensive 24 years long experience, I have extensive contacts in the utilities as
officers, who had joined these Utilities in early years of my career, are now in
senior position. I interacted at all levels and specially senior level management of
the utilities having good relation up to Director, CE, SE, XI. As ABI caters to both
transmission and substation sectors, be reach is across the utilities.

Career Highlights :
1. Approval of ABI Disc Insulators for 765 KV Transmission Line Insulators by
UPPCL.

2. Approval of ABI Solid Core Insulators for 765 KV Substations by UPPCL.

3. First Orders for Polymer Insulators for UPPCL.

 4. Polymers Insulator approval by HVPN for supply of through EPC.

5. Approval of ABI RY Insulators for RDSO.
