The SEMA show is all about competing for attention from crowds and media inundated
with stimulation from the show floor. From elaborate booths and presentations to seas of
project cars and thousands of new products, there’s a lot for gear heads to take in. CGS
Performance is no stranger to the SEMA project car game, so the company knew it had to
push the envelope with its second Mustang project in as many years.
“Ford asked us to develop some new products for the new EcoBoost Mustang and at the
same time we decided to build a project vehicle out of our car,” CGS Performance
Products President Casey Scranton explained. LATEST VIDEOS MORE

“We wanted to show people that the EcoBoost can still be
cool and get up and go with over 400 horsepower,” Casey
said.
“CGS now has an EcoBoost catback exhaust and we are working on a cold air intake for
it now,” Casey explained.

With two cool Mustangs under its belt, CGS Performance isn’t slowing down on the project
vehicle front. It hopes to have yet another vehicle new in Las Vegas in the future. For now,
however, the company can enjoy two unique and different S550s.
