We see brown cows everywhere. We might be fascinated at first but after a while

we'll get bored. But a purple cow would be remarkable to watch. According to the book

traditional marketing strategies are dead. The new P in marketing is called the purple cow.

Traditional P's are price, promotion, people which are still important but there are just so

many products out there now that advertisements are no longer working. New marketing

strategies require us to incorporate marketing within the design of the product. We have to

create a product that is different and remarkable that it sells itself. This is the concept of

purple cow. Getting most people to like your product isn't the way to go anymore. Cost

leadership is not the way to make a purple cow because anyone can bring a cheaper product

anytime. Once you have your purple cow milk it for all it's worth and then move on.

ALL COWS GIVES MILK BUT PURPLE COW GIVES EXTRA!
