homeroom period. We started our opening prayer led by Ms. Roselyn

Camatura. We discuss about the Mother Ignacia: God’s Gift of
Faith to the Filipino People. At the end of the session, the
pupils/students will be able to, cite real life instances
imitating Mother Ignacia’s gift of faith, exhibit faith through
in the midst of trials and suffering, and manifest trust on God,
oneself, others and the authority. After that, we had an activity
called ‘Walk with Faith’. And Ms. Roselyn Camatura form 2 groups,
and assign person for the following roles: a 1 walker
(blindfolded), 1 guide, 5 obstacles, 3 distractors, and the
remaining person of the group would be the observers. The
mechanics of the game is the blindfolded walker should be able
reach the finish line by following the instruction given by the
guide, the guide should ensure that the walker will not hit any
of the obstacles, the obstacles will be scattered in the area,
the distractors will give commands that will cause confusion to
the walker and lastly the observers will look into the flow of
the activity. After the activity Ms. Roselyn Camatura asked us
some questions, those questions are: the first question what did
you feel before and during the activity? Was it easy doing the
task? Why or why not? (to be answered by walker, guide and
observers), second question what have you observed? What are the
factors that contributed to the success of the team? (to be
answered by observers), and the last question how important is
trust between the guide and the walker? The session was ended
with a closing prayer led by Ms. Roselyn Camatura.

spokesperson of the class. I believe being elected as the class

public information officer of the Grade 8 – Our Lady of Mediatrix
of All Grace ,it is not easy but with the help of my dearest
adviser Mr. Riven G. Barquilla, my friends and especially our
school it is now more easy than before. It is the duty of the
class public information officer with the other officers in
facilitating , organizing, implementing, and planning class
programs. Public Information Officer aims to announce the
important details announced by the school's government. On the
14th of June 2017 is the elections of the class officers. As the
election started I already expected to be nominated because of my
friends and I did not expected to win the nomination. The chosen
of the class shall make the school year the best that we can make
it to be. We were tasked to manage the class and regulate the
behavior of our class, Grade 8- Our Lady of Mediatrix of All
Grace. As the PIO the part of my duty is by announcing the
important announcements such as first Friday masses, assignments,
performance tasks, performance checks and also the activities for
the months. The class also conducted activities in this following
months;

On July of 2017, the school's annual Nutrition Month was

held. This month promotes healthy lifestyle and discourage of
eating unhealthy foods and create awareness among them on making
the right choice of food. As the PIO I announced the activities
and the dates of that said event. On August of 2017, the OLFAI
community celebrated the Buwan ng Wika. I announced the
activities and we also wear national outfits during our
culmination.

On September of 2017, the OLFAI community celebrated the

math and science month. During that month we had our SIP congress
and we learned more about math and science. I and my co-officers
helped each other and I announced the important things.

OUR LADY OF MEDIATRIX OF ALL GRACE

S.Y. 2017 - 2018

On October of 2017, the OLFAI community celebrated 3 events.

First, is “Rosary Month” wherein we pray rosary everyday. Second,
is the “Intramurals” it was fun because we enjoyed watching and
participating the events. And lastly, the “worlds teacher's day”
wherein the OLFAI community prepared a program for the teachers
across the all year level. In our class, the grade 8-OLMAG
prepared a memorable surprise for our adviser Mr. Riven G.
Barquilla. On November of 2017, the OLFAI community celebrated
the National Book Month. In this month we didn't participate that
much. At the culmination day we still enjoyed watching.

On December of 2017, the OLFAI community celebrated two

events the “family fun run” and the “family day” wherein we
enjoyed very much. Having this experience as a PIO of the Grade
8-OLMAG is not that easy. I cannot say it is very heavy duty. I
did my best to do my jobs and responsibilities for OLFA and for
our class. Being an officer is fun and memorable. I learned more
about being a spokesperson of the class and as a leader too. I
love this duty even though my classmates are hard-headed I really
need to have long patience for them but I will still continue to
be the school year. Doing my responsibilities and helping my co-
officers, my classmates and most especially Mr. Riven G.
Barquilla is the best thing I can do.
