AFFIDAVIT
I, EDNA S. QUEJADO, of legal age, Filipino citizen, widow and a resident of
and with postal address at Brgy. Taboc, San Juan, La Union, after having been duly
sworn to in accordance with law, hereby depose and state:

1. That I am one of the plaintiffs in Civil Case No. 10024 anent the
Annulment of Deed of Extrajudicial Partition with Quitclaim over Real
Property, Cancellation and Revision of Tax Declaration and Damages
which the Honorable RTC Branch 29 decided in our favor;

2. That the defendants filed their Motion for Reconsideration relative to the
decision of the Honorable Court which is adverse to them;

3. That the Motion for Reconsideration filed by the defendants contains new
documentary evidence to support their prayer for a reversal of the decision
by the Honorable Court, all of which are not part of the documentary
evidence they formally offered in evidence after their presentation of
witnesses/evidence during the trial on merits;

4. That one of the documentary evidence now being introduced in their

Motion for Reconsideration is a sworn statement by one, PERLA B.
QUEJADO, who claims to be our household help at the time the
questioned Deed of Extrajudicial Partition with Quitclaim over Real
Property subject of the case was executed by the parties therein;

5. That I DENY STRONGLY the claim of one, PERLA B. QUEJADO in

her sworn statement that she was our household help at the time the
document described in her Affidavit as ANNEX “A” (Deed of
Extrajudicial Partition with Quitclaim over Real Property) was allegedly
thumb marked by my late husband, Benjamin Quejado on May 30, 1996
and such claim is a total falsity and a product of her imagination because
the truth of the matter is, our household help then was one we call,
“Dayang-dayang” and never did we contract the services of one, Perla S.
Quejado to be our household help that time, neither before that time
alleged, nor even after that time alleged by her;

Copy of Perla B. Quejado’s ANNEX “A” is herewith attached and

marked as ANNEX “AA” & series, and hereby made integral parts hereof;

6. That PERLA S. QUEJADO with her Affidavit is a self-serving witness

and obviously intended to mislead the Honorable Court into believing that
there really was participation of Benjamin, my husband in the execution of
the disputed conveyance subject of the case but in truth and in fact, there
was none; and

 7. That I am executing this affidavit to attest to the truthfulness of the
foregoing facts and for all legal intents and purposes it may serve.
