Sub:- Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh – Financial Assistance under

COVID-19 from the Funds of “Bar Council of India
Advocates Welfare Fund for the State” and from
“Government Grant A/c” – Reg.

This is to inform you that the Bar Council of India has permitted

the Bar Council of India Advocates Welfare Fund Committee for the

State, to grant Financial Assistance to the Advocates, who suffered from

pandemic COVID-19 and underwent treatment. Apart from the same,

the Special Committee, constituted under the Government Grant, has

also resolved to extend Financial Assistance to the Advocates, suffered

from Covid.

In view of the above, a common Form is designed to claim Financial

Assistance from both the Funds. I am herewith enclosing the said Form

and request you to forward the same to the advocates to claim Financial

Assistance, effected from the widespread of the Virus.

The application should be recommended by one of the Members of

the Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh. The Advocates, filed Applications /

Declarations under COP Rules, alone, are eligible to claim the

Assistance. The advocates are requested to fill up all the columns in the

applications and has to enclose the required certificates and can send

the application through post.

The applications received will be placed before the Bar Council of

India Advocates Welfare Fund Committee for the State and thereafter

before the Special Committee for consideration. After consideration,

the amount will be transferred through online, directly to the Account

of the respective advocates.
