In this picture, light colors are used by the artist which can reflect to the feeling of
the audience while watching the painting. The shapes present in the painting are all
natural. It shows five men trying to push a jeepney.

My own interpretation in this painting is that it shows the Filipino culture that is very
hospitable and helpful to each other. I can say that this painting portrays a message
that says: in order for us to move forward and progress, we must help each other
and pull each other up because success is not a race and we must be each others
instrument to achieve our goals and dreams.

This painting helps Iliganons to be always reminded that no matter how cruel the
world gets, we should always keep choosing humanity because that is what we are
for. We should not see the world or people as a competition because we become
more productive if we work hand in hand.
