 IMPORTANT

YOU SHOULD ALWAYS OPEN THE APP USING TERMINAL FOR

BETTER STABILITY.

Right click on X-Activator then click Show

Package Contents. Then inside the folder
Contents navigate to the folder MacOS and
inside you will find a file called X-Activator
which you will DOUBLE CLICK in order to
open X-Activator using Terminal.

DO NOT place the app in /Applications folder. It will fail.
Please keep X-Activator in the Desktop. OUTSIDE OF ANY FOLDER
DO NOT rename the app. X-Activator ONLY

 GENERAL USAGE OF THE APP

1. HOW TO LOG IN

On the top menu click “My Account” then click “Login”. Afterwards use the username and
password that you previously registered at X-Activator Platform.

1. X-ACTIVATOR’S USER INTERFACE

A. Activate iPhone Button. Press here to proceed with activation

B. Open checkra1n Button. Press here to open checkra1n jailbreak tool.
C. Information about your plugged in device
D. Phone status. It will automatically detect whether your phone is ready to be bypassed. If
it isn’t, it will ask you to restore. Please do restore the phone using iTunes to latest
version

 BYPASS GSM DEVICE (WITH SIGNAL)

X-Activator will fully activate any GSM iPhone from iPhone 7 to iPhone X. If you are
unsure what GSM means, please check the following graph:

So long as your phone doesn’t have the MEID Number (indicating that it uses CDMA
Technology) X-Activator will perform a complete activation which includes the following:

√ Signal (Normal use of 4G + Data)

√ Untethered (can reboot the phone)
√ iMessage + Facetime + Notifications
√ Set passcode
√ Lifetime warranty
´ Restoring phone
´ Software upgrade (non OTA)

 BYPASS GSM DEVICE (WITH SIGNAL) – PROCESS

1. Using checkra1n (latest available version) jailbreak the device.

2. Make sure the device is jailbroken and on the Helo screen.
3. Open X-Activator and press “Activate Device”.
4. Wait until an alert with the message SUCCESSFUL is displayed. DO NOT TOUCH
ANYTHING MEANWHILE.
5. Introduce a SIM Card. (Any SIM Card is valid).
6. Your iPhone is now activated. Before restarting go to “Settings” – “iMessage” and
sign in with your Apple ID. Note: Not doing so and restarting the phone will result in
your phone not being able to activate iMessage, Facetime and notifications.
7. RESTART THE PHONE TO ENABLE FACETIME AND NOTIFICATIONS.
(MAKE SURE YOU TRY TO LOG IN IN FACETIME BEFORE RESTART)

TROUBLESHOOTING IMESSAGE, FACETIME, NOTIFICATIONS

Sometimes you might encounter that despite having carefully followed the steps stated before
your phone might be unable to activate iMessage, Facetime, and/or push notifications. If this
were the case, please follow the following troubleshooting steps to fix this issue.

1. Introduce a SIM Card which is active and has a 4G connection

2. Jailbreak the device
3. Open the app and use the “Fix Notifications” button
4. IF THE STEPS BEFORE DON’T WORK RESTORE THE PHONE USING
iTUNES AND ACTIVATE AGAIN.

X-Activator will partially activate any CDMA iPhone from iPhone 5s to iPhone X.

√ Untethered (can reboot the phone)

√ OTA Updates
√ iMessage + Facetime + Notifications
√ Set passcode

´ Software upgrade (non OTA)
´ Signal (Normal use of 4G + Data)

BYPASS CDMA DEVICE (NO SIGNAL) – PROCESS

1. Using checkra1n (latest available version) jailbreak the device.

2. Make sure the device is jailbroken and on the Hello screen.
3. Open X-Activator and press “Activate Device”.
4. Wait until an alert with the message SUCCESSFUL is displayed. DO NOT TOUCH
ANYTHING MEANWHILE.
5. Your iPhone is now activated. Before restarting go to “Settings” – “iMessage” and
sign in with your Apple ID. Note: Not doing so and restarting the phone will result in
your phone not being able to activate iMessage, Facetime and notifications.
6. Restart your iPhone, and now you can normally use it.
7. Now you need a SIM Card with PIN Code. You must keep it inside. Everytime when
you turn of the phone click “Cancel”.
8. RESTART THE PHONE TO ENABLE FACETIME AND NOTIFICATIONS.
(MAKE SURE YOU TRY TO LOG IN IN FACETIME BEFORE RESTART)

9. If you press the button “DELETE BASEBAND” IT WILL BECOME FULLY

UNTETHERED. BUT THE BATTERY WILL BE DRAINED FASTER.

 TROUBLESHOOTING IMESSAGE, FACETIME, NOTIFICATIONS

Sometimes you might encounter that despite having carefully followed the steps stated before
your phone might be unable to activate iMessage, Facetime, and/or push notifications. If this
were the case, please follow the following troubleshooting steps to fix this issue.

1. Put your phone in DFU Mode and restore with iTunes to the latest available iOS Version
at the moment. Then follow the activation steps above.
2. Make sure that the SIM Card you are using to activate is live and can access the 4G
network.
3. Make sure the SIM Card you are using to activate belongs to a GSM Carrier and not a
CDMA carrier.
4. Use the “Fix Dependencies” option inside X-Activator for as many times as you need
until notifications become live.

TROUBLESHOOTING BYPASS NOT UNTETHERED

1. If after having being shown the successful message during the activation process, you
encounter that after restarting the phone it becomes relocked (aka, the hello screen
appears). That means you probably haven’t introduced a SIM Card inside, or that the SIM
Card doesn’t have a PIN Code Lock. YOU NEED TO ENABLE THE PIN CODE
LOCK FOR THE SIM YOU INTRODUCE.
2. If you are totally sure that the SIM Card you introduced does indeed have a PIN CODE
Lock but the hello screen still appears, please proceed to put the device in DFU Mode
and restore to the latest iOS Version using iTunes.
