THE STATUS OF EDUCATION IN INDIA

Education is the process of facilitating, learning or the acquisition of knowledge, skills, values,
beliefs and habits. Education, being a learning process helps the individual to attain knowledge
and understanding of the higher specific objectives. The knowledge gained formally resulting,
individual has a pattern of thought and behavior in accordance with the education they have
.The primary aim of education is to develop productive citizens that use their knowledge,
talents and learned skills to sustain themselves and also help others while pushing the human
race forward in areas of equality, equity and harmony. Education is considered as the crucial
development tool in various like cognitive, intellectual, social, personal. But the current
complications is the variation in the quality of education , which tends to be the reflection of
the prosperity.

The main cause of this research is to understand the problems in the Indian Education System.
Some factors that foster the plight in Education System are lack of teaching resources,
traditional teaching method, financial constraints and privatization. The heterogeneous nature
of Education System led to face various challenges. The current Education System in India has
lost its dynamic character.
