UBUMWE GRANDE HOTEL is only 20 minutes’ drive
from KIGALI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT and close to
shopping malls and both Government and Corporate
offices. It is the most convenient base to explore the
beauties of the Kigali City and its Skyline.

convenience, each guest room area is equipped with a

Wakeup Calls
To set a wakeup call from your phone: Dial 18, and then
enter the time you require the call using a 24-hour clock
format e.g. a call for 7.30 am should be entered as 0730.
Once you hear a series of beeps replace the handset.
Alternatively, you can place a wakeup call with reception.

Foreign Currency Exchange

Foreign currency exchange is available in the Banks and
Forex Bureaus nearby the hotel. Ask Front Desk for
directions.

Fire Alarm
May we please ask that you read the fire evacuation
instructions on the back of your door to familiarise yourself
with the procedure should an emergency occur.

mandatory weekly safety hour.
FITNESS & GYM ACTIVITIES
For guest’s convenience, the gym located at the rooftop
next to the pool side area can be used 24 hours.

Towels are refreshed daily. If you wish to observe our

environmental policy and save on water, we ask that you
leave them on the towel rail. If you wish the towels to be
refreshed, then please leave them in the shower area.

You will find free Wi-Fi service all over the hotel for
guests of the hotel. The log in credentials are placed on the
reading table and in your welcome letter.

The business centre is also available for you, use your

room key to access and get connected.

Each of our guest rooms benefit from an Interactive
Entertainment System that features main News Channels,
Movie Channels, sports Channels and Audio Channels.

Golf
The hotel has tie up with the Kigali Golf Club. Contact

Lost and Found Items

All misplaced items are held by the security department,
please contact reception for more information. Lost
property will be held for a period of 6 months. Any items
that are not claimed within that period will be given to
charity.

Pharmacy: There is a late Chemist round the corner,

Newspapers

National and Foreign Newspapers can be ordered by

request at Reception the day before. Please note that
Foreign Newspapers may be a day or two behind news.

You can also place a standing order for Newspapers to be

delivered to your room at a charge. Contact Reception

Pets
Due to strict health regulations, no pets are allowed in the
premises or in the rooms.

There is a Room Service Menu in your room. Room

Service will attract a cover charge.

Swimming pool
Situated within the Rooftop floor.
Pool hours are 7am until 10pm.

Please consider the privacy of other guests and keep noise

to a minimum.

Security of Belongings
For your convenience a safe is provided in each of our
guest bedrooms. The safe is located in the wardrobe and
will be found open when you first enter the room. To use
the safe please follow these instructions;

Our rooms are non-smoking and are fitted with smoke

Kigali International Airport is 20-30 minutes away from

the Hotel. If you are leaving at peak times, please allow 1
hour travelling time.
