(Type your poem here. 16 lines or 4 stanzas) Overall message of the poem:

A Mother’s Love
What lessons do I want my reader to learn from my poem?
Her love is a gentle breeze on a summer day.
One knows it will come.
Literary & Stylistic devices used, with examples
Yet when it does, it soothes like rain dropping
Device Example (Copy line or Contribution (Why
on dry fields lines from poem here) did the poet include
this device? What
purpose does it serve?)
Her love is like a river heading to vastness.
It never stays.
It never stops.
The love continues and carries, through and through.

Her love is a nourishing sunlight.

Its warmth is a familiar pleasure.
But too hot a light is a great pain.
As everything in excess can also burn.

Her love binds everything beautiful,

Leading to little joys to timeless treasures.
It is a shield of every home,
That my own world knows.
