1. Why are quality standards different internationally?

In the business world, the management must assure that the quality of their goods meets
the expectation of their target market, or else no one will buy whatever they are selling.
Speaking of the quality standards, it is a criteria or set of detailed requirements, specifications
and guidelines that are designed to ensure the companies that they will be able to meet the
purpose of their products or service. However, quality standard in all nation are not the same.
Different countries has their own set of quality standards depending on their economic situation.
The standard in developed countries are not the same for those developing countries(low-
income countries) since their economic status and purchasing power are not alike.
Nevertheless, it doesn’t mean that a particular country that is under the developing countries,
they will receive product that has poor quality. Quality standard is all about ensuring both
consumers and employee receives mutual satisfaction. Also, the technology that are being use
in making a product is also a key factor determining the quality standard they can offer to their
buyers. The more advanced and newest technology the country uses, the more goods and
services with best quality they could offer.
