Outside of acting, Black is the lead vocalist of the

Grammy Award-winning comedic rock duo Tenacious
D, which he formed in 1994 with Kyle Gass. They have
released the albums Tenacious D, The Pick of Destiny,
Rize of the Fenix, and Post-Apocalypto. In December
2018, Black launched his YouTube channel Jablinski
Games.
