Provisional offer for admission to B. A. LL. B. (Hons.), LL.M., MCLIS and Ph.D. Courses

The candidates allotted to NLIU Bhopal by CLAT-2018 and candidates admitted to MCLIS and Ph.D.
programs are required to report for admission in the Guest House of NLIU Bhopal on June 29 or 30, 2018
(Friday or Saturday) between 10:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m. In case, a candidate fails to report in person by
June 30th 2018 latest by 05:00 p.m., it shall be conclusive that he/she is not interested in taking
admission to NLIU Bhopal. Consequently, this offer for admission shall stand automatically withdrawn
and cancelled and his/her seat shall be treated as vacant and this vacant seat may be offered to the
candidate next in merit, and no request shall be entertained by the NLIU in this regard. Candidates are
required to follow the following instructions:

(1) The offer of admission is provisional and does not create any right to admission in favour of the
candidate Admission 2018-19 caption. NLIU, Bhopal shall not be responsible for any
expenditure made by the candidate on travel etc.

(2) The information regarding fee and charges payable by the candidates of all categories will be
notified at www.nliu.ac.in. under Please keep visiting the website.

(3) The candidates must report in person for payment of fee and charges, documents verification
and finalization of admission process with the following documents:

1. Mark Sheet of 10th Examination (Original & Photocopy).

2. Mark Sheet of 12th Examination (Original & Photocopy).
3. Mark Sheets of Graduation/LL.B. (Original & Photocopy) for LL.M., MCLIS
and Ph.D. candidates only.
4. Mark Sheets of LL.M. (Original & Photocopy) for Ph.D. candidates only.
5. Seven copies of recent colour passport size photographs in formal dress.
6. Transfer Certificate in original.
7. Migration Certificate in original.
8. Character Certificate in original.
9. Affidavit of Intervening Period in original, if there is a gap of one or more year
between the qualifying examination and the year 2018.
10. Original Admit Card & photocopy.
11. Original Caste Certificate & photocopy (three copies), issued by competent
authority, if applicable.
12. Original Domicile Certificate & photocopy, issued by competent authority, in
case of M.P. State & J&K Residents, if applicable.
13. Person With Disability Certificate in original & photocopy, satisfying the norms
of reservation in this category, in the prescribed format only, issued by
competent authority, if applicable (for prescribed format visit www.nliu.ac.in).
14. In addition to the above mentioned documents, NRI/NRI Sponsored category
candidates are required to submit the following:
 (i) Original copy of the fund transfer certificate in the bank account no.
062510005196 IFSC Code BKDN0810625 of NLIU Bhopal.

(ii) Original copy of certificate issued by the bank, mentioning the rate
of exchange US$ and ₹ at the time and date of bank transaction.

(iii) Original copy of Certificate of being an NRI or a certificate of the

relationship with the Sponsor to meet the requirements of NRI
Sponsored Rules (see www.nliu.ac.in for the rules relating to NRI /
NRI Sponsored).

(iv) Affidavit of Sponsorship.

(v) Certified copy of Certificate of NRI/ PIO/OCI, whichever is

applicable, of the Sponsor issued by the competent authority.

(vi) Certified copy of Passport of the Sponsor.

(4) Candidates of B.A.LL.B.(Hons.), LL.M., and MCLIS courses of all categories provisionally
allotted to NLIU Bhopal and having deposited an amount of Rs. 50,000/- and the candidates of
Ph.D. Course are required to deposit the amount of money as per the following table at the time
of admission through the Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Director National Law Institute
University, Bhopal” payable at Bhopal.

(5) Hostel facility will be allotted on the date of admission.

(6) The students from outside the city of Bhopal are advised to come fully prepared to stay in
Bhopal as the classes of B.A.LL.B.(Hons.), LL.M. MCLIS, and Ph.D. courses are scheduled to
begin from July 02, 2018 (Monday).

(7) Orientation program will be held on July 01, 2018 (Sunday) at 11:00 a.m. in the
University Auditorium. All the newly admitted students and their parents are requested
to attend the program and join us for Lunch.
