Presence of competitors:

Stylo:

Wapda town, nazarea-e-Pakistan road market is actually a very crowded market area in terms of
multiple brands. As ECS and stylo both are located opposite and considered as rivals, except than
these there are many other competitors of the industry are present at the same location.

These brands may give stylo a tough competition but as stylo has a different shoe styles as their
product from its neighbor stores that is a very rich benefit to it, and can catch their potential
costumers probably by an ease. Actually, stylo and its neighbor stores are of same industry but they
sale totally different taste of product and have different consumers from each other.

Ehsan chapal store:

ECS is known as the oldest shoe brand as compare to the other brands of the industry or we can say
the competitors of the same product design. As, it is the last shop of its lane a costumer cross other
rival stores and then reach to ECS. It has the following competitors in the neighborhood

 Shoe box

Due to these rivals on the way to ECS, they may face an issue that their quite a big number of
costumer go to the other rivals house instead of ECS. This factor is might because of its locality that
is at the end stop and also because the flow of road reach to it at the very last, after crossing other
competitors.

Visibility of store:
Stylo:

Stylo is located between hemel store and a bank, bank building is constructed with a zoom view than
stylo. As they have left a parking area for their costumers vehicle but bank has not. That block the
view of sylo a bit but still that doesn’t harm the location of store as it is located in a wide front area
which pop itself in a good manner.

Ehsan chapal store:

It is located very next to hangten store, the infrastructure of ECS is constructed in a zoom out way
than its neighborhoods and it has double floors that is also beneficial for its visibility. ECS has more
valuable and constructive points than stylo when talking about the visibility.

Cost effectiveness:
Stylo:

When talking about the cost bearable by a store we can face multiple ones from minor to major. So
according to the analysis on stylo we come to determine that wapda town branch is the most
efficient branch from all over the Lahore. As they have 35 branches in total only in Lahore and this
branch has the highest footfall and is profitable as compare to the other branches in the city.

While conducting stylo’s management interview we come to know that they lie under the A+ cluster,
which means they earn up to 9 crores annually from this particular branch and this is a business term
in which we have defined a bracket of profitability if it touches 9 crores it lies under A+ cluster.

They pay 10 lac per month as their rent and the store is based on 2 canals in area wise. Than talking
about the labor cost, they have 18 employees in this branch and they belongs to johar town,
samanabad, bilal ganj which are from Lahore but they have also their emplyees which are from out
of the city, stylo bears all of their expenses e.g. rental cost, transportation etc. s their incentives and
we were also told that their business is doing very well and they can easily bear the cost with a high
rate of profitability. They have their own transports so they have to bear only fuel cost and
moreover their warehouse is also located in Lahore so they do not face more costs and yes, they are
cost effective.

Ehsan chapal store:

A branch with very less crowd and having less footfall as compare to the other branches. The
manager of the branch says in his interview that they have only 5-6 costumers or footfall in a day
and only one or hardly two costumers’ shop. So, they have a very less productivity and bear a lot of
expenses on their own by the help of the profit they generate from the other branches.

They pay 8 lacs as their rent,12 branches in Lahore and lies under the cluster C. They have only two
transports and through which they move their inventory, if the inventory is coming from out of the
town they do not use their transportation in fact they use TCS and lapord service which infer a big
cost on ECS.

Than the cost on their employees, they also have employees from out of the station and from the
city. They do not entertain their employees from out of station, they mange their residence and
other expenses all over on their own behalf except the monthly salary. So overall, they do not save
much as compare to the competitors and face high expenses so according to the analysis ECS is not
cost effective.

This branch is highly facilitated in infrastructure facilities, because they have three different and
different natured banks in their neighborhood which are beneficial for ESC official works and also for
the costumers so they do not need to go far for bank facility if required.

Demand density and supply density:


Stylo:

As stylo is very trending brand in market and when talking about this particular branch they have
high sales, so the demand and supply both are equal in fact their demand is bit higher because of
their huge footfall. But stylo has managed their inventory so very effectively and meet their supply
with high demand in a very efficient way.

Ehsan chapal store:

ECS branch wapda town is very low profitable branch as compare to their other branches in the city,
so their demand level is not at all high as they have very low footfall and sales. But they still don’t let
their outlet out of stock they always maintain the inventory at the certain level. They do not let the
inventory waste and also no extra inventory as they have analyzed their consumers intention
towards them.

Connectivity and traffic flow:


Stylo:

Stylo is located in The market which connects the the main wapda town round about and shoukat
khanum road, when going from shoukat khanum road to wapda town round about that is the main
entrance of wapda town and the flow goes inward towards the residential area. Whereas the flow is
more towards the road where stylo is located. This leads towards the low factor because this high
flow reduce the parking area for the specific brand and another issue is that there are many more
leading brands also located on the same location which disturbs the traffic flow and the space

Ehsan chapal store:

This market actually connects the the main wapda town round about and shoukat khanum road,
when going from round about to shoukat khanum road that is the main exist of wapda town and the
flow goes outward towards the residential area. Ehsan chapel store is located on that road side of
the roadBut according to the analysis, traffic flow is reasonable and aligned in flow towards the ECS.
Because the following service road has a clear space in front of it and every shop located there has
its own defined space and consumers face no issue to park their vehicles and it has also the ease of
connectivity from main road to shop.
