1
The Setting
The story takes place at a time when strange events were happening in the world, such as
murders and unexplained deaths. This story takes place in two small places, Maine and Dupray.
I think a couple of months passed, less than six, since a lot of things were happening.
Everything centers on an institute, where they recruit children with telekinesis and telepathy, to
control events around the world through them. Leading many to their deaths, both the children
and the people they wanted to harm. The bravery of a group of children, their intelligence and
their nobility, saved many others from being kidnapped by the people of the institute.

2
The Characters

Luke Ellis is the main character. He has some friends, inside the institute and when he can
escape find some new, these last helps him find his other friends and help them get out of that
place, although not all escape alive. Mrs. Sigsby, the institute's director, and her staff are the
ones who challenge Luke and his friends, it’s a war between the good and the evil. I think what
makes some of them special is they bravery, especially the kids.

Plot
1. Beginning: here’s when we know one of the principal characters, where and when the
history take course.
2. Middle: at this point everybody is fighting, the kids are free, some of them died, the bad
guys die too, and the truth come out.
3. Ending: the kids finally free, go to their houses, some with their families, and others are
adopted, and starts to losing their powers too. Luke feels sad some because he
remembers his friends who died, but he remembers them with love, thanks to his
sacrifice he and the others have another chance, children were released and saved
others from falling into the hands of those people who exploited them and experimented
with them.

One of the most important events in the story, is when the kids are together and they unite their
powers, and they lift the whole institute to the sky, and then they drop it. Luke arrives with the
friends he made when he escaped, and they rescue those who are left alive.

Conclusion
I would recommend this book, because makes your imagination to grow up, and picture the
