Plot
Exposition:
In Babylon, the city of Semiramis, theres 2 youth named Pyramus and Thisbe. Pyramus the most beautiful
youth and Thisbe the loveliest maiden in the east.

Complication:
Even their house is separated by a wall. It never stops them to play and talk to each other every day. As they
grew up, they started to fall in love with each other and even plan to get marry but Thisbe and Pyramus are
against them and don’t wat them to be married.

Climax:
Finally, a day came when could endure any longer. They have decided to escape and meet in a place where
they can be together. At that night both of them sneak to their houses and go to the said place. Thisbe is the
first one to arrive. So, she waited for Pryramus. Upon waiting a lioness with blood in his jaw and foot just
came. She immediately ran and without knowing she dropped her cloak at the ground. The lion picks it up and
teared it.

Denouement:
At that moment Pyramus just arrived in the said place and saw the teared clothes of Thisbe and saw a
footprint of a beast with a blood going in the forest. He immediately concluded that Thisbe is already dead.
So, for the sake of his love to Thisbe he drew his sword and plunged it into his side. Then the blood spurted up
over the berries.

Resolution:
Thisbe came back to the place because she thought that maybe Pyramus just arrived. Upon arriving, he saw
someone laying in the ground. She immediately run to it and saw that it was Pyramus with blood shredded in
the ground and saw a sword beside him. Death is only the one who can separate them. So, she picks up the
sword and plunged it in herself. The gods and their parents were so pitiful with the couple so as memory they
turn the mulberries into white as snow.
