You are looking for a part-time job. Write a letter to an employment agency. In your letter……….

• Introduce yourself

• Explain what sort of job you would like?

• Say what experience and skills you have?

Respected Sir,

I hope you are doing well. I am inscribing this letter in regards to your assistance in finding a part-
time employment opportunity for me.

I am a full – time international student at Howard University. I am studying Masters of business

administration in finance with that I am also working as a teacher assistant of finance professor. I am
on a student visa which is valid for the next 2 years.

However, in spite of being working as a teacher assistant, I need one more part-time position to
cope up with my daily expenses. I am comfortable working as a data entry clerk as well as a
customer service representative. Moreover, if you have any other opening of a bank officer or a
finance clerk which requires a bachelor's degree then that would be great.

Furthermore, I have 2 years of experience working as a finance officer in a reputed multinational

company with that I also worked as a part-time cashier in various shops and restaurants. While
working as a cashier, I had handled balance-sheet and profit and loss statements as well. I hope you
will find some suitable jobs for me.

I hope to hear back from you soon.

Yours faithfully,

Pam Kaur
