Evaluation
1. Explain in your own words the statement of St. Augustine of Hippo “If you
understand and fathom Him fully, it would not be God.”
This statement states that, we could not really understand God. God Is the
highest among the highest, if we are able to understand him, then he is not God,
because God is unpredictable, we won’t know what’s in His mind, we won’t know
what His plans are. Therefore, if we understand him then he is not God.

2. Explain the attributes of God.

Omniscient: This means that God knows everything, He knows what your future
is, He knows every part of you as a human, He even knows how many strands
your hair has.

Omnipotence: This means that God has all-power, he can do everything that we
think it’s impossible. He has all the control with our lives and all living and non-
living things.
Omnipresent: This means that where ever we are in this world, where ever we
go, He is always present by our side, therefore when we pray, He’s always by
our side listening.

Omnibenevolent: This means all-good. Therefore, God is truly good all the time
even if we commit sins, and we ask for forgiveness, He will always forgive and do
you good.
