Meeting at the VFW Thursday
The VFW and Auxiliary will meet Thursday,
September 10th. The Auxiliary meets all 6:00pm and
the VFW meets at 7:00pm.
Final plans for starting the Steak Fry season
will be discussed as well as how to handle the Poppy
distribution in November. All members are asked to
attend.
Fort Peck Marina ramp
getting
a major upgrade
The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is
extending concrete on the Fort Peck Marina boat ramp
100 feet above the existing concrete. Construction
is tentatively scheduled to begin September 9th
and continue through the month depending on
conditions.
High water over the last several years has caused
the base under the asphalt at the upper end of the
boat ramp to deteriorate. Viking Construction of
Nashua received the competitive bid to remove the
asphalt and install concrete.
Though the marina boat ramp will be closed,
all other services at the marina remain open during
construction, including gas, bait shop, restaurant,
camping. Boaters can launch 2.5 miles west at Duck
Creek Fishing Access Site or seven miles east at Flat
Lake Recreation Area.

Who Is Getting
Your Money!
I guess maybe “Who” isn’t
getting your money....he’s safely on
first.... but there are people out there
who claim to be non-profit organizations but actually
are fronts for something else. We used to call them
crooks but today they are known as Liberals, Socialists,
Dark Agenda Democrats and Black Lives Matter folks.
Stop It! Hear me Out!
When I donate a couple bucks to the Immigration
Reform Law Institute (IRLI) I know that the money is
going toward the many law suits that great firm is waging
against illegal immigration and I can see progress every
day. Money well spent. Another firm I give a few dollars
to is the Judicial Watch who’s president, Tom Fitton
is a patriot fighting to right some of the thousands of
wrongs being perpetrated upon us legal US citizens by
our government and its’ crooked officials. Again, I can
see progress daily and again it’s a $20 bill, now and then
when I can afford it, well spent.
There are other good charities one can donate to and
see positive results so you can feel that you are helping
to make a difference. Like the Ronald McDonald House,
or the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer fighters, or Toys
for Tots, or the yearly Coats for Kids, or the March of
Dimes, or, my favorite, The Vaupel Home for Unwed
Fathers (more on that shady outfit at a later date), ....but,
well, I could name more but you know who the good
ones are and can make your own decisions about where
you want your donations to go.
One of the worst misrepresented groups begging
for donations is this Black Lives Matter outfit. Lots of
people think that the money donated to BLM is going to
build community centers, more places for teens to gather
and become good citizens, money for predominately
black schools and things such as that. Those folks (BLM)
know that they don’t need to spend your donations for
those things because if they whine and riot enough the
government will build the free clinics and new housing
high-rises for them free. They know they can misdirect
your money to other situations such as the up-coming
elections, federal and state.
That’s why most of the money you are giving
to BLM to assuage your guilt about being white and
your inbred guilt about them being related to people
who were slaves back in the day is being funneled to
an organization called BLMGNF ( Black Lives Matter
GLOBAL NETWORK FOUNDATION (GNF). Those
hundreds of millions or your dollars are being used to
elect Democrats across this nation including Ol’ Sleepy
Joe and Kowmala. Betch’ didn’t know that did ya?
Now that I have thoroughly Pee’O’d the progressives
I’d like to move on to another subject if you please.
That is that I am extremely glad we have finally found
a president who is both a patriot and a nationalist.
Nationalism used to be a dirty-word but it has come
into a new identity these days. President Trump is a self-
proclaimed Nationalist.
See friends, simply put a Nationalist is a person
who firmly believes that his/her country is the best
country in the whole-wide-world! And what’s wrong
with feeling that way? On the other foot patriotism
is defined as “by nature defensive both militarily and
culturally.” ‘Nother words patriots believe the United
States is the best nation in the world but we don’t want
to force it upon other people. We could also associate
the name Trump with the word protectionism. Another
dirty-word?
I’ve said many times before and if the Buzz will let
me I’ll say it again; I wouldn’t cross the street to shake
Trump’s hand but I will do all I can to see that he is re-
elected so that he can finish the job he has promised
to do. Even if that means voting multiple times as the
opportunity arises to do so because of the mail-in voting
fiasco the Democrats are insisting on.
Freedom or Socialism....Trump or Biden....Number
one again or knocked down to a third-world country?
Your choice in November.
