This sculpture shows “Brillar”, the most significant song composed by Maria Isabel Murillo. At
first this song meant nothing for me … until she died in front of my eyes. From that moment on,
this song attests me the thin line between life itself and the death that ends it. But also, how she
will be remembered as long as her light is on, which is why I the candle has stuffed and gleaming
rose petals, to first show how she transmitted her light.
