TRIAGE AREA

 Driveway in front of Main entrance door fronting to Emergency room will be converted
to triage area.
 Also triage will be place in front of Main entrance of Medical Arts Building (OPD)
 Equipments/Supplies on each
- Table with plastic barrier (1 for Nurses, 1 for ROD)
- Hand sanitizer (Alcohol pump)
- Disinfection sprayer
- Foot bath
- Thermo scanner
 All patients/companions will pass on the triage for health declaration screening prior
entering the Hospital.
 A patient which is asymptomatic will be directly place into the isolation.

 All OPD clients with symptoms of Covid-19 will be directed to proceed in ER section
and will not be allowed entry to Medical Arts Building for consultation.
General Guidelines for OPD Patients
1. Examine your secretary for any presence of infection prior taking their post in your clinic.
(All secretaries should include in the health declaration).

2. Educate your secretary to do frequent hand rubbing using 70% isopropyl alcohol, especially
after touching money.

3. Do not hold clinic when sick or with significant exposure (medium to high exposure) to
COVID patients.

4. Patients to set an appointment with your secretary, the lesser the number of patients to be
seen per clinic day. Schedule for a telemedicine option for stable patients.

5. Advise your patient before hand, through your secretary, that patients with fever or any
respiratory symptoms will not be allowed to seek but will be directed to the ER.

6. Train your secretary to screen patient symptoms from the history of cough, colds, fever,
headache or difficulty of breathing.

7. Be on time to avoid crowding. Practice proper distancing.

8. Do not take so much time on one patient. Maximum of 15 minutes per patient.

9. Implement NO MASK NO CHECK UP POLICY.

10. Only one companion per patient is allowed if patient is disabled. If patient is ambulatory,
NO COMPANION POLICY.

11. Patients are requested to bring their own hand sanitizer/ alcohol.

12. Ensure availability of the following: surgical masks, alcohol, disposable tissues and trash
bins.

13. Proper disposal of used items/waste must be observed at all times. Have big waste bins
with label.

14. Seats are marked (x) where patients are only allowed to sit.

15. Have separate set of ball for patients. (Disinfect after use with 70% isopropyl alcohol
every after patient)

16. Strictly implement social distancing at least two (2) meters from each other.
17. Clean the clinic using sodium hypochlorite as frequently as possible.

18. Make sure to Wash your hands or use Hand Rub properly at least 20 seconds before and
after seeing patients.

19. Cover stethoscope with plastic and disinfect every after patient’s use.

20. Avoid touching your face, eyes, nose, and mouth.
