The trainer and assessor will observe and evaluate your performance during the Role-
Play.
If you are absent from class, it is your responsibility to make alternative arrangements
with the trainer and assessor to undertake the Role-Play. You may only reschedule once.
Instructions to assessor
Observe and evaluate the performance of the student during the Role-Play.
You will be looking for the student’s demonstrated ability to apply knowledge and skills
required to use emotional intelligence.
OBSERVATION
Assessor to complete –
o Prepared a plan to facilitate the meeting with the team member (Role-Play),
in the form of personal notes as instructed.
o Prepared the feedback form to sue at the end of the Role-Play.

o Applies inclusive techniques to develop an understanding
o Supports the team member in improving EI
o Assists the team member in understanding the effect of their behaviour and
emotions on others in the workplace
Comments:
Good questioning skills. The effect of their behaviour was explained to the other party.

o Proposes an action plan to support the team member in decreasing their level
of stress and finding motivation in their own work
