We're getting Fault 5.2 on candela gentle lase.

Hey,

Check the LVPS for the Backlight problem


Christine Check that the Fiber optic cable is transmittingthe signal to the
Mae CPU Board,

Check that your CPU Board is receiving the signal from your
fiber optic cable. for your EOA issue,

I don't think your refering to the right machine this doesnt have
LaserTech a lvps just a hvps. Thanks for the response but does someone
have a less generic answer?

I apologize, yes I was thinking of a VPPS for the Back light.

However, make sure to check the Fiberoptic Cable that is


Christine coming from the bottom of the HVPS to the CPU. I had the
Mae same EOC error before. The Receiver on the was not receiving
the signal from the Fiberoptic Cable. And in my case, because
the solder joints on the reciever had gone bad and the unit
therefore could not see the signal.

Also if you have replaced the HVPS and still have this problem I
would look at the CPU or the connections from the HVPS to the
CPU.

and I can try to assist you in troublshooting the unit.
