Construction Materials and Testing

1. Steel Sheet- Sheet metal is metal formed by an

industrial process into thin, flat pieces. Sheet
metal is one of the fundamental forms used in
metalworking and it can be cut and bent into a
variety of shapes. Countless everyday objects
are fabricated from sheet metal.

2. Steel Bars- Rebar (short for reinforcing bar),

known when massed as
reinforcing steel or
reinforcement steel, is a steel bar or
mesh of steel wires used as a tension device
in reinforced concrete and reinforced
masonry structures to strengthen and
aid the concrete under tension.

3. Bright Flat Mild Steel- right steel bar is usually a

carbon steel alloy which has had the surface
condition improved by drawing, peeling or
grinding over the hot rolled finish supplied by
the steel mill. Advantages achieved include
improved machining, less wastage at
component production stage, enhancement of
physical and mechanical properties and
improved dimensional tolerances and
straightness.

4. Mild Steel Square Bar- Mild Steel Square Bars

are popular in the building and fencing industry
and can be used for a wide range of
applications. With its high strength and versatility, it can be drilled, welded and cut
to suit your requirements.

5. Mild Steel Hollow Section- are cold formed and

welded from either hot rolled, cold rolled,
pre-galvanized or stainless steel. In order to
form the rectangular steel section, the
appropriate mother tube, a round steel tube,
has to be formed first.

6. Steel Round Bar- is a hot rolled,

mild steel solid steel bar that is ideal for all
general fabrication, manufacturing and
repairs. Steel Rounds are widely used in
industrial maintenance, agricultural
implements, transportation equipment,
ornamental iron work, fencing, artwork, etc.

7. Angle Steel Bar- is a steel material which is

an angle shape with inside radius corners
that is ideal for all structural applications.
An angle bar is also used to turn the web
when feeding from the side, or to bypass the
former folder.

8. I-Beam- ,An I-beam, also known as H-

beam (for universal column, UC), w-beam (for
"wide flange"), universal beam (UB), rolled steel joist (RSJ), or double-T (especially
in Polish, Bulgarian, Spanish, Italian and German), is a beam with an I or H-
shaped cross-section. The horizontal elements of the "I" are known as flanges, while
the vertical element is termed the "web". I-beams are usually made of structural
steel and are used in construction and civil engineering.
9. Hexagon Steel Bar- Hexagonal Bars are
precisely shaped for items or machines
that require accurate pieces. One of the
most common places they are used is
conveyor tables. Hexagonal Bars are
usually easy to drill and form, making them
common in braces, ornamental and
interior works.

10. Round steel tube- provides structural

applications with greater strength and
excellent corrosion resistance. Our DOM
round steel tubes have a smooth inside
and outside finish due to the mandrel
production process. DOM round steel
tubes are ideal for stressful applications
that require higher quality, increased
mechanical properties, uniformity,
strength, and soundness.

11. Steel Tee Bar- The “T” shape of hot rolled

steel tee makes it favorable for
applications where large loading bearing
capabilities are a must. The top (Flange)
provides compressive stress resistance
while the vertical section (web) resists
shear stresses and bending. This product
is also easy to weld, cut, form and
machine.
 12. Half Round Bars- are incredibly important for
machining and canning industry. It is an exquisite
shape that has niche appeal among many of the
various fields that use stainless steel.
