Hello my name is juan sebastian carvajal and my partners are Stefania lopez and laury quintero.

 We're g
oing to tell you about the famous discoveries. Then I'm going to tell you about the biggest discoveries of
the past that changed people's lives.

I'll show you three, the fire, the writing and the wheel

So we ask ourselves the questions:

the fire is the first great invention of mankind. Their dominance was
the beginning of civilization.
Then…
How was the fire discovered? Who was responsible?
The research and archaeological remains found indicate that
the human species homo erectus knew about fire since
1,600,000 years ago. Thus, primitive men knew how to use
fire, but did not know how to light it.
The most likely hypothesis about how the warm element was
discovered indicates that it was probably by reproducing acts
of nature and adapting them.
It is believed that the first time man saw fire was due to a
lightning storm that set fire to a dry surface.
It is known that the first method was the rubbing of a stick with
dry wood, but it was also achieved by quickly scraping two
stones, or rubbing a rope against a wood.

Another invention that helped mankind was. . the writing

was invented by the Sumerians in Mesopotamia about 3,500
years BC . They wrote in clay
the writing serves for the communication of ideas: the
transmission of a message, however simple or complex it may
be, between a sender and a receiver who may be separated
in time and distance, that is, a communication in the absence
of the sender. In the same way, writing serves as an
alternative memory: we can write down the things we know to
come back to them later, without fear that oblivion will take
away our knowledge.

and my third invention that I bring is

The wheel

The first wheels were used in an activity that

had been central to human creative
expression for thousands of years: ceramics.
Many centuries passed before someone
thought of using these wheels to move
objects.
This made transport extremely easy. With
much less force, much greater weights could
be moved.
The reason for this is that the wheel has a
very small point of contact with the ground
and does not slide on top of it. This means
that friction is minimal and almost all the
force is used to move the load.
