My best friend

My best friend’s name is Alina. We know each other since childhood and we met at a
party in our common native village. We’ve been inseparable since, even though we
sometimes had our differences.
Physically, I would consider my friend to be beautiful. She has brown, curly hair,
brown eyes and full lips. She is also tall and sturdy, never was the athletic type like myself.
She wore a fringe since the day we met and I always thought it suited her very well, fitting
her round face perfectly.
A few personality traits that would describe her very well would be: she is stubborn –
never listens to anybody and likes to do things in her own way. She is someone you can trust:
I always confided her with my secrets and she never betrayed me. She is also friendly and
loves to help people. I particularly admire her for her intelligence – she studies languages and
literatures and you could tell that she knows a little bit about everything. This also means she
is very funny and always knew how to make me laugh, no matter how sad I was feeling.
Alina lives in a village close to Timișoara, the city where she is studying. And even
though we see each other rarely, because we live far away from each other, we still talk
everyday and our relationship remained the same.
