comparisons. It is important to make
comparisons.

The chart compares the yearly salary of medical professionals and other workers in several countries in
the year 2004.

Overall, it is clear that the salary of doctors working in the US is much higher compared to doctors who
are employed in other countries. Moreover, the annual pay of doctors in each country is much higher in
comparison to workers in other fields.

It is evident that US doctors earned the largest amount of money compared to those physicians working
in other counties. In fact, US doctors earned a whopping $120,000 annually placing them at the top of
the rank. However, physicians in Switzerland and France earned approximately $70,000, followed by
Czech Republic, Italy, and Germany where doctors earned around $60,000; hence placing Finland in the
last rank where doctors earned below $60,000. With this, the amount of pay earned by doctors working
in other countries pales in comparison to the annual pay of doctors employed in the US having at least a
$60,000 difference.

It is clear that doctors earned a much higher payroll regardless of the place they are working in. The
annual pay of other workers was much lower, at about $40,000 and $45,000 in Switzerland and the US.
Other workers in France earned around $30,000 which is a little more than those working in Finland who
had an annual salary of approximately $25,000. Therefore, the lowest annual earnings are from workers
who come from Italy, the Czech Republic, and Germany, at exactly $20,000.

The line graph presents information on

international conferences held in three capital cities during the year 1980-2010.

Overall, City A and B were the most popular locations for conferences during the year 1980 though the
trend declined thereafter. City C started at a low rate but this rapidly increased and reached it's peak
during the year 2010.
Figure 1 shows how the railway tunnel of Japan is much longer compared to the road tunnel of Mont-
Blanc. The depth of Mont Blanc Tunnel is 3.5 km whereas that of the Seikan Tunnel is only 240m.
However, the length of the Mont Blanc Tunnel, which connects Italy and France, is only 11.6 km in
comparison to the Seikan tunnel which is much longer and has a length of 53.85 km.

Figure 2 shows how the timeline of the construction of the two tunnels were interestingly different. In
fact, the railway tunnel connecting two of the Japanese islands took 42 years to complete, starting in the
year 1946 and completing in 1988. However, the road tunnel of Mont Blanc, was finished in just 8 years,
between the year 1957 and 1965, which pales in comparison to that of the Seikan Tunnel.

The diagram compares two figures on the cross-sections of two tunnels. Figure 1 shows the
road tunnel joining two different countries, while figure two shows a railway tunnel linking

two Japanese islands.

Overall, it is clear that the railway tunnel of Japan is longer compared to the road tunnel of
Mont-Blanc. Furthermore, the Seikan Railway Tunnel took twice as long to build in

comparison to Mont-Blanc.
