The simple present is used to talk about things that happen habitually, routines.
RULES
When the verb ends in ss-sh-ch-o-x addition es. (wash-washes)

When the verb ends in y the i is replaced by the y and is added es. (play-plaies)

For the rest it is addition s. (like-likes)
