The simple present is used to talk about things that happen habitually, routines.
RULES
When the verb ends in ss-sh-ch-o-x addition es. (wash-washes)
When the verb ends in y the i is replaced by the y and is added es. (play-plaies)
EXAMPLE
+ She reads the newspaper every day.
- She doesn´t read the newspaper every day.
? Does she read the newspaper every day?
Exception
The verb to have is special and they do not apply previous rules

Example:
I have dinner at 8pm on Saturdays
I don´t have dinner at 8pm on Saturdays
